About this Event
On July 21 2022 at 5:30 p.m. near the Central Park Library’s park side entrance we will have a special presentation from representatives of The Aboriginal Tribe of Santa Clara Valley, the Tamien Nation.
Through education, cultural preservation, food sovereignty, and collaborative efforts the Tamein Nation continues to uphold their ways of life and maintain their beliefs and customs with dignity, peace, and prosperity for the generations to come.
Join us as we learn more about the history of the Tamien Nation, their connection to the Santa Clara Valley, and ways we as a community can come together to volunteer and support their causes.
* Due to safety and spacing, this event will be outside and limited seating will be available on a first-come-first served basis. Masks are recommended, but not required.
