Learn about plant systems in the MCWC watershed: plant identification, classification (botany), riparian habitats, and invasive species. Be ready for a “plant walk” of the Lions Pond area at the River Stop to identify and discuss Russian Olive, cheatgrass, and Canadian Thistle after exploring the display of Russian Olive and Tamarisk in the River Stop. The class is designed for youth 8 to 16 years old. Class size is limited to 10 kids.
