About this Event
Have you ever immersed yourself in a video game or a tabletop board game like Dungeon & Dragons and just wished you could go one step further and walk into that world for real?
Well, you can! Live Action Role Play (LARP) games allow you to create and inhabit a character and physically engage in an imagined world; participating in quests and working alongside and against other Player characters and Non-Player characters.
Come and learn more at a LARP 'n Talk workshop run by LARPwest, at the Kwinana Public Library. Members of the hobby will talk you through all things LARP; from character creation, costuming and crafting, to combat and how to roleplay.
LARPwest will give a demonstration of a duel, and explain some of the many worlds that have been created and inhabited around Perth and beyond.
LARP is limitless and LARPwest welcomes all ages, ability levels and backgrounds so come learn the many ways you can get involved!
Registration is recommended - walk-ins welcome.
