What is adult Literacy? It's really two programs in one.
On one hand, it's helping a person who's birth language is English learn to become a better reader.
On the other hand, it can be helping someone who is newer to English learn to converse with more confidence and clarity.
The Adult Literacy Program based at Potsdam Library is both of these things and we're welcoming program director Bobby Gordon to our Community Room to tell us about the program and give you information about getting involved either as a learner or as a tutor. Everyone is welcome to this short, informative session.
