Abstract:
Bio: Geneva List is a Senior Staff Associate at the Columbia University Climate School jointly appointed between the National Science Foundation Science and Technology Center “LEAP”—Learning the Earth with Artificial Intelligence and Physics—and the National Center for Disaster Preparedness (NCDP). For over a decade she has worked at the intersection of climate and development programming at the International Research Institute for Climate and Society, the Inter-American Development Bank, Global Affairs Canada, and the International Development Research Centre. Geneva holds a Master’s degree from McGill University in Geography and has published her research in Climate Risk Management, Climate and Development, and Natural Hazards
