After such a well-attended, joy filled camp back in Autumn, we are ready to begin all the dreaming and planning for our Spring camp. We will again meet at Leanganook, which may offer us some familiarity and the chance to deepen our connection to this beautiful place and each other. This camp gives us the opportunity to make visible and immerse ourselves in the creative, connected community that we are. How lucky we are to have such a vibrant homeschool community!Wednesday will be the structured day with activities and offerings (the best day for a drop-in). Camping will be from Tuesday-Friday…stay some or all! We will have a shared Indian-themed dinner on the Tuesday night. Please get in touch with activities
you would like to facilitate or share or post on this Facebook event page if you’d like to co-create or co-facilitate something with others. The previous camp we had one of the younger people run a workshop that was valued by many children and
parents…nobody is too young to bring something to share! Bring yourselves and (if you feel inclined) music instruments, bikes, sport equipment, camp tables, marquees and grandparents!
If you can't camp, you are welcome to come during the day.
There is no cost to camp at Leanganook. Facilities include drop toilets (no showers) and running water; sites are unpowered and first come best dressed, but there is generally plenty of room.
If you would like to contribute please contact us with your ideas. No offering is too big or too small. This camp is what we make it!
