About this Event
Are you a leader within your organization with a mission to drive continuous improvement initiatives to drive performance results? Are you seeking new tools, need a refresher on lean tools, or looking for new best practice insights to help you drive action and manage change in a quickly changing environment?
Lean Focus will teach you the most critical tools and skills you will need in order to be the change agent within your organization, from the planning and preparation of strategic priorities, identifying the right tool applications to make improvements, driving action, practicing skills necessary to facilitate kaizen events, and ensuring sustainment of actions and accountability across your organization.
What is a Kaizen Event? Kaizen is a Japanese business philosophy meaning continuous improvement. It implies that everything can be improved upon with change for the better. When facing a business challenge, a focused "Kaizen Event" is a targeted event which hones in on the challenge, applies clear problem-solving techniques to identify wastes in the process, and seeks to remove those wastes with clear, identifiable actions and improvements. This course is intended to teach individuals how to manage these types of kaizen activities in a meaningful way to drive results within an organization using hands-on techniques and training.
This course is for senior leaders, managers, Continuous Improvement professionals, and individual contributors who want to further their skills, learn in a hands-on environment, gain insights to best practices, and make an impact within their organization.
You will learn unique and proven methodologies from continuous improvement professions who have held Senior Leadership positions and who have extensive experience applying these tools and driving performance improvements, from start-ups to Fortune 200 organizations.
