About this Event
Missouri Enterprise is partnering with Goodwill of Western MO & Eastern KS, Kansas CIty, Missouri, to offer a Lean 101 Workshop that introduces you to Lean Manufacturing concepts. The workshops are limited to a maximum of 20 individuals.
Lean manufacturing is a production process based on maximizing productivity while minimizing waste within a manufacturing operation. It is not about one person; it’s about your whole team focusing on Lean principles, helping detect and correct inefficiency and waste wherever it occurs in your operation.
The Lean 101 workshop is designed to help your team understand continuous improvement, which in return, will make your company more responsive, competitive, and profitable. The lean workshop allows team members to understand the fundamentals of lean and how the tools of lean are implemented.
DATES :
Thursday, December 12, 2024
Not only will you walk out of this workshop with an understanding of lean terminology and concepts, but you will also get to experience a hands-on simulation of what your company is trying to do when adopting lean. Participants of the workshop will act as staff of a mock company for three rounds of simulation, where they will apply Lean tools to transform the enterprise from a batch-and-queue production system to a flow system.
There are several benefits of lean manufacturing that a company can gain such as reduced lead times, reduced operating costs, and improved product quality. So, come experience a Lean 101 Workshop with Missouri Enterprise. All materials for this workshop will be provided, participants just need to be present and ready to learn.
**Limit three participants per company
