Lealands High School is pleased to invite you to our annual Open Evening for prospective students and their families.
About this Event

Welcome to Lealands High School and thank you for showing an interest in joining our Open Evening for prospective parents and students. Our students and staff are really looking forward to meeting you.

Our Open Evening will take place on Wednesday 25th September 2024 from 4pm to 8pm (last entry is 7pm), by prebooked appointment. If you would like to visit us and experience what makes Lealands so special, please book onto one of our student led tours. The first tour will start at 4pm, running every10 minutes, with the last tour departing at 7.00pm. You will be led in small groups, to visit key departments and areas of the school. Alternatively, you are welcome to opt for a more bespoke tour were our staff and students will guide you around the areas of the school of your choice.

Come and look around our excellent facilities across the school's PE, Technology and Art Departments. Taste some delights in the Dining Area and Food Technology Departments. Learn about local Luton history and quiz the Humanities Department's knowledge on volcanoes, or guess what chemicals turn flames into the Northern Lights in science!

Our Directors of Subject will be on hand to explain our curriculum and how we support and develop students to reach their maximum potential; with fun activities to participate in across the school during your visit.

Tours will be led by our Student Leaders, who are keen to talk about life as a Lealands' student.

If you have any concerns about your child's development or medical needs, our Assistant SENCO and Medical Officer will be able to discuss any specific needs.

Tours are limited and only those booked on a tour will be able to attend. Please book 1 ticket for every person in your group including children.

If any visitor has specific mobility requirements, please indicate this when booking, so an alternative tour route can be allocated.

Due to limitations of visitors we ask that only parents/carers and children in Year 6 attend where possible.

If you can't make our fantastic open evening, book on one of our bespoke day tours on either the 26th or 27th September (morning tours only) and view the school in action with one of our Senior Leadership Team.
