Leaky Dam Building

Meet us at 10am at Oak Plantation, Knowsley Lane, Liverpool, L36 8EL, at the pedestrian access entrance on Knowsley lane (opposite thornton way). Parking is available on the residential streets opposite Oak Plantation.

We will dig into the river banks, move logs, and install posts to create leaky dams. This is a physical activity that requires you to be physically fit enough to lift and carry 20kg safely.

This is a weather-dependent activity (if it's snowing or icey). Work boots/ wellies are required, as are water bottles, resuable cups, suitable clothing, and lunch; other PPE items will be provided.

Facilities are a short drive away at the local Earlsfield services. One staff member will be providing lifts to staff and volunteers to use the facilities.
