The League of Women Voters of Nebraska will hold its 2024 annual meeting from 8:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 6th, in Omaha with a virtual stream option via Facebook Live.
We meet yearly to recenter ourselves in the mission, vision and values of the league’s work.
This year’s theme is “Vote Today, Shape Tomorrow!", where we will reflect on how people powered democracy is acheiveable while strengthening our community building for the upcoming 2024 elections.
Location: Barbara Weitz Community Engagement Center, 6400 S University Dr Rd N, Omaha, NE 68182. A light continental breakfast will be offered from 8:30 a.m. - 9:30 a.m.
LWVNE will offer a Facebook Live stream option, however, we encourage you to join us in-person.
Whether participating in Omaha or via Facebook Live, you must register on this page by 5 p.m. April 2nd for the in-person meeting and by 5:00 p.m. on the 5th for the stream.
Those attending in person are suggested to donate an amount of their liking (suggested: $25) to help support the annual meeting costs.
Attendees can bring cash or a check, written to the League of Women Voters of Greater Omaha, the event hosts this year. Thank you for your support!
