League of Women Voters Annual Meeting, with Keynote Speech by Steve Long

The public is invited to the Annual Meeting of the League of Women Voters of the Hamptons, Shelter Island & North Fork, which starts with refreshments at 1 p.m., followed by a business meeting, awards to both students and adults, and a PowerPoint talk by executive director Steve Long on “A Behind-the-Scenes Tour of the East Hampton Historical Society." Attendees will then all drive to the Dominy Shops Museum, 73 North Main St. (across from IGA) where Mr. Long has graciously offered a complimentary tour about 3:30 p.m. of the newly-opened home and workshop of the East Hampton family that is noted for their master craftsmanship of 18th and 19th century furniture, clocks and even the nearby Hook Windmill.
