About this Event
Learn to lino print and create unique greeting cards and artwork inspired by autumn’s falling leaves. Artists from collective M.Y.O will host each session, teaching you the techniques to create your own greeting cards or mantelpiece artwork to take home with you.
The M.Y.O team will be joined by plant biologist and teaching fellow at Imperial College London, Dr Catherine Mansfield. As you create your lino artwork, Catherine will discuss the beauty of leaves from a scientific perspective. She will take us down the microscope to explain how the tiny structures within leaves reveal their ability to harness their surrounding environment for healthy plant growth.
This event is part of the Great Exhibition Road Festival: One World.
This is an adults-only event, please see the Festival website for more events for all ages. Please arrive 10 minutes before the event begins. If you arrive after this time, your ticket may be reallocated.
