Castle Pines residents are invited to recycle leaves and pumpkins for composting!First have fun with your leaves- gather them in piles and jump in, use them for Halloween props, etc. - then bring them to be composted.
Pile them in bags and bring them to Elk Ridge Park's parking lot. (You'll dump the leaves out of the bags....no bags will be accepted at the event.)
Leaves are collected and used by local farms as a soil amendment and need to be as clean as possible. No garden waste, large brush, branches, or tree stumps are accepted as part of the leaf collection event (no commercial landscaping).
The event is free to Castle Pines residents!
