About this Event
Join the Communities Together for Health Equity (CTHE) movement, where the values and strengths of equitable partnerships are central to driving transformation and creating meaningful progress in health equity.
This year's gathering comes at a critical time as New York State's approved 1115 Medicaid Waiver and Social Care Networks (SCN) are anticipated to shape the future of the health and wellness of our communities. Therefore, the urgency to unite community-based organizations (CBOs) and diverse stakeholders is needed to understand the implications and limitations of the waiver, its impact on CBOs and the communities served, while fostering the active participation of CBOs in shaping actionable strategies that prioritize community needs.
Full program agenda to follow.
Led by the Arthur Ashe Institute for Urban Health, CTHE is a city-wide network of over 80 diverse CBOs. Established in 2014, by and for CBOs, CTHE was formed in response to the need for robust community engagement in New York State’s healthcare transformation efforts, as well as the growing demand to prioritize addressing social determinants of health (SDOH).
We look forward to seeing you there!
