BUILD A ROBUST FUNDRAISING PLAN FOR YOUR CHARITY

Fundraising in Singapore has been heavily disrupted by COVID-19, with Community Chest and National Volunteer & Philanthropy Centre (NCSS) reporting drops in donations for charities across various sectors since the pandemic began. Facing a new reality amid the pandemic, charities have pivoted towards the digitisation of large-scale fundraising activities, but a robust, forward-looking fundraising plan is necessary for them to survive and leverage opportunities presented by stakeholders in the fundraising ecosystem.

This seminar will address three critical actions to help your organisation thrive and build long-term sustainability:

  1. How best to structure your organisation to support changes as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
  2. How board members and staff should work collaboratively to develop an action plan to be agile in times of crisis.
  3. How you can improve the culture of philanthropy in your organisation and ensure the organisation has a solid case for support.

Led by Usha Menon and Dr Tan Bee Wan, their working experience and knowledge in the fundraising and philanthropy space ensures that you leave with a fundraising plan that enables your organisation to fully leverage schemes presented by the government, such as Tote Board’s Enhanced Fund-Raising Programme, especially crucial as more beneficiaries come to you for assistance during these trying times.
