About this Event
Leading Large Grant Projects
This workshop will provide context and guidance for those looking to become applicants for and leaders of larger grant projects (£500,00+) in the social sciences.
The morning session will cover the development of, and processes involved in making, applications for larger grants.
The afternoon session will focus on what happens when an award is successful and how to manage larger grant projects.
The workshop is organised around a discussion of the key themes and issues in applying for and managing large grant projects between academic staff who have experience in leading such projects and PS colleagues who set up, mobilise and support them.
While providing a comprehensive overview of the large grant leadership process, our team of academic and PS experts will also explain how what might look like a daunting prospect can actually be an exciting and fulfilling experience.
Refreshments will be avilable from 10.30am and lunch will be provided.
