About this Event
Sometimes school staff are open to developing and changing their practice during CPD-based sessions and meetings - but at other times, less so! This practical, highly effective session is based on relevant evidence of what works best for most colleagues, most of the time.
You will:
- Analyse the elements of successful CPD that lead to colleagues transferring what they learn into their day-to-day practice
- Apply these elements to your own work, and then develop and facilitate in-person and online CPD that:
- maximises the impact of CPD in the limited time available to busy school colleagues
- involves activities and interactions that lead to good reactions, trust and engagement; and so to improvements in the work of teachers and support staff
- is clearly defined and well-pitched, with outcomes that can be assessed and evaluated
Audience - Colleagues who currently lead and who aspire to lead CPD meetings and sessions for teachers, such as: primary, secondary and college staff; subject and phase leaders; Senior Leaders; CPD coordinators, facilitators, and course leaders; lead support staff; other CPD providers.
This course will provide valuable experience for anyone who is thinking of embarking on an NPQLT
