We would like to invite you to a 3-day professional learning opportunity at Cadoxton PS to learn about how to be and become a community focused school (CFS) in your context.
WHO? Like minded professionals who are interested in improving practice, Leaders, Aspiring leaders, Teachers and Family engagement managers or officers.
WHY? All children and young people should be well prepared for their future lives. This is the aspiration of the Curriculum for Wales; enabling them to become ambitious, enterprising, ethical and healthy, supporting their careers, relationships, health and well-being.
WHAT?
This 3-day course will give you the why, how and what you need to do to be a community focused school. Above all to focus on the impact on learners of this way of working.
•A blueprint for curriculum for Wales and community focused schools in action and how they are the same thing.•How to build family efficacy and meet the needs of all families.•How to see your community and parents from an asset-based approach.•How to use the 3 key areas of CFS together to develop this approach.•To share expertise and learn about partnership working.•To hear case studies and ask the questions you want answered•Develop leadership skills and insights into behavioral science to improve communication.•Use global key research including - Steve Constantino
