What's so special about Leadfoot Granny? ● They've only known each other since late 2023.
● Their first live show in February 2024 landed them a front page article in The Toledo Blade Entertainment Section in March.
● They're one of the youngest rock bands in the NW Ohio area today.
● They started recording their first album of original songs after only 3 months of playing together and finished only 3 months later in June 2024.
● These recordings aroused interest from major record producers Terry Brown (Rush/Max Webster/Klaatu) and Rob Fraboni (Dylan/The Band/The Rolling Stones) who mixed and mastered their new album respectively.
● They are performing their own show in celebration of the release of their first album (CD/streaming/downloads) at The Valentine Theater.
So what's so special about Leadfoot Granny?
Besides that, nothing really except that they are Hope Smith (19) lead vocal, Luke Ermie (19) guitar/vocal, Owen Krupp (20) bass/vocal, and Odin Woodbury (20) drums, and are some of the sweetest and most talented young musicians in existence. Their music is fresh, exciting, innovative, classic, and mature well beyond their years. But don't take my word for it. Come to The Valentine Theater on January 18th, 2025, 7:30 PM and see them, hear them, meet them, and judge for yourself.
