How do we move the needle at work, influence others to follow our lead, and feel genuinely seen and heard in our roles? Why do some professionals advance while equally talented peers stagnate? These questions point to a critical skill gap with many of us simply unprepared to navigate workplace power dynamics.Perceived by many to be clouded by negativity and cynicism, organizational politics is a learnable, evidence-based competency essential to career success. Through compelling storytelling, historical and contemporary workplace examples across sectors and organizational levels, and research-backed frameworks, participants will learn the art and science of political navigation—including power base development, terrain mapping, and influence strategies that work at any level.
Whether you're a student entering your first corporate role, a practitioner seeking to advance your career, or a leader developing talent, this session provides actionable tools for effectively navigating the often-unspoken dynamics that shape organizational success.
