Join our next event, part of the AUBG Leadership Talk Series, for a conversation with Ivan Bedrov, a journalist and media manager with more than 30 years of experience across television, radio, print, and digital media.Register at https://bit.ly/3YQm440
Under the theme “Die Hard: Who Will Pay for the News Tomorrow?”, Ivan Bedrov invites the audience to imagine a world without journalists. Not commentators. Not propagandists. Not influencers. Just quotes and feelings. He says. She says. Love it. Hate it. A world we are already starting to see.
At first glance, this may seem irrelevant, especially if your business is doing well. But when no one digs deeper, checks facts, and connects the dots, people know less, misinformation spreads more easily, and societies make poor decisions with real consequences. At that point, it affects everyone. This talk is a call to start caring now.
Ivan is currently Director of Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty Bulgarian Service (Svobodna Evropa), where he has been a driving force behind the outlet’s digital transformation. A pioneer in adopting digital and social media strategies in Bulgarian journalism, he has helped position Svobodna Evropa as a model of innovation and efficiency, reaching hundreds of thousands of people through modern news platforms.
Join us for this AUBG Leadership Talk, a series that brings together EMBA alumni, students, partners, faculty, and friends for inspiring conversations about leadership, strategy, and impact.
