About this Event
Leadership Starts Now: The Power We Choose to Wield is a teen summit designed to help 200 youth ages 15 to 18 build personal power – the clarity, confidence, and resilience to shape their lives and communities. The theme encourages students to explore identity, emotional intelligence, and safety as foundations of leadership.
The summit will feature interactive leadership development sessions, breakout workshops, and civic activation activities that help young people build clarity, confidence, and resilience to shape their lives and communities.

Presented by GBLA, the Young Professionals Auxiliary of the Greater Baltimore Urban League, in collaboration with Morgan State University, this summit creates space for youth to connect, reflect, and step into leadership—right now.
