Leadership Series with Dean Coomer (Christie Staff Only)

Introduction:

An interactive and engaging 90 minute webinar introducing delegates to the Chimp Model and using the Model to explore positive mind-set and navigation of the changing world. The Chimp Model translates complex neuroscience into an understandable and relatable format, which enables people to gain insight and understanding of themselves and others around them. Delegates will be introduced to the model through practical exercises and self-discovery learning. Participants will then explore how this insight impacts on their professional and personal lives, in particular around managing emotions.

The session will use neuroscience to explain why times of uncertainty can lead to feelings of stress and anxiety, which although natural, are not helpful reactions. Skills and techniques for managing stress and anxiety will be explored. Delegates will learn practical skills and application of the Chimp model to optimise performance of their own mind, in particular around being able to get the best out of themselves and others around them in the changing world.
