About this Event
Experience and Learn Leadership from Historyโs Boldest Voices!
Join internationally recognized historian Linda Harris and Down Set Lead facilitator Rod Bourn as they guide you chronologically through the Underground Railraod in a modern coach bus.
Stopping at key sites (Cambridge, Buckstown Village Store, etc.) you'll learn about how the UGRR operated, the decisions the conductors made, and why. The group then delves into how those decisions serve as lessons that can be applied in leading todayโs organizations.
The coach bus leaves Annapolis at 8 a.m. and arrives back by 6 p.m. Light snacks and drinks are provided. A mid-day break will provide you with time to explore Cambridge and grab a bite at a local restaurnat with the guides (food not included in price).
This tour is a blend of history and learning how to lead with courage, vision, and values, while drawing strength from stories of people who made impossible choices with profound humanity.
Individuals, small groups, and work teams are all invited to attend!
