Leadership Day: Hiland Park Elementary School

We are excited to invite you to a special event that promises to be both inspiring and transformative - Hiland Park Elementary Leadership Day, inspired by Stephen Covey's "The Leader in Me" program. This day is dedicated to celebrating and promoting the development of leadership skills in our students and sharing them with our community.

The "Leader in Me" program, based on Stephen Covey's timeless principles, has played a pivotal role in shaping our educational philosophy & school culture at Hiland Park Elementary. It teaches students not only the academic skills they need but also life skills and leadership qualities that will empower them to excel in all aspects of their lives.

During our Leadership Day, you can look forward to:

Student Leadership Showcases: Our students will demonstrate how they apply Covey's principles to lead themselves and others effectively. From setting and achieving goals to building strong, respectful relationships, you'll witness the amazing growth of our young leaders.

Campus Tour by Student Leaders: Get an exclusive tour of our campus led by our student leaders. They will showcase how they've incorporated Covey's principles into our school culture and environment.

Four Houses, One Family House Meeting: Join us for a special "Four Houses, One Family" meeting, where each of our leadership houses will present their accomplishments and activities, fostering a sense of unity and community among our student body.

Info: Enjoy light refreshments in our media center while our Student Lighthouse Team members are available to meet with you and answer any questions you may have about our school.

Info: Our Student Lighthouse Team will share details of our program and our school with you and will share what they love most about being a Hiland Park Razorback.

Info: Enjoy a campus tour with in depth looks into our classroom environment, led by our Student Lighthouse Team. We are excited for you to see academics, leadership, and culture as you walk through our halls and into our classrooms from Kindergarten through fifth grade. Please feel free to ask questions of our students or of your Student Lighthouse tour guide.
