Synopsis :
Par une belle journée de printemps, un petit village plein de personnages excentriques se réveille et apprend que Selma a eu une prémonition : elle a de nouveau rêvé d'un animal rare : un okapi. Tout le village sait que cela signifie que quelqu'un est sur le point de mourir. La peur de voir la prophétie s’accomplir plonge le village dans une frénésie confuse. La petite-fille de Selma, Luise, 11 ans, et son meilleur ami Martin en sont simples spectateurs, mais lorsque la prémonition se réalise, c’est le monde de la jeune Luise qui est soudain bouleversé.
Dix ans après cet événement qui a changé sa vie, Luise mène une vie tranquille et travaille dans une librairie, jusqu'à ce que l'arrivée d'un invité inattendu lui fasse redécouvrir à quel point l'amour peut être puissant et donner la vie.

Synopsis:
An einem schönen Frühlingstag wacht ein kleines Dorf voller exzentrischer Gestalten auf und erfährt, dass Selma eine Vision hatte: Sie träumte wieder von einem seltenen Tier: einem Okapi. Das ganze Dorf weiß, dass dies bedeutet, dass jemand bald sterben wird. Die Angst, dass sich die Prophezeiung bewahrheiten könnte, stürzt das Dorf in Aufregung. Selmas Enkelin Luise, 11 Jahre alt, und ihr bester Freund Martin sind nur Zuschauer, doch als sich die Vision bewahrheitet, wird die Welt der jungen Luise plötzlich auf den Kopf gestellt.
Zehn Jahre nach diesem lebensverändernden Ereignis führt Luise ein ruhiges Leben und arbeitet in einer Buchhandlung, bis sie durch die Ankunft eines unerwarteten Gastes wieder entdeckt, wie mächtig und belebend die Liebe sein kann.

Synopsis:
On a beautiful spring day, a small village full of eccentric characters wakes up and learns that Selma had a premonition: she dreamed again of a rare animal: an okapi. The whole village knows that this means someone is about to die. The fear of seeing the prophecy come true throws the village into a confused frenzy. Selma's granddaughter, Luise, 11, and her best friend Martin are mere spectators, but when the premonition comes true, it is young Luise's world that is suddenly turned upside down.
Ten years after this life-changing event, Luise leads a quiet life and works in a bookstore, until the arrival of an unexpected guest makes her rediscover how powerful and life-giving love can be.
