Last Dance, New BeginningsLe Bal du Dernier Soir is the final dance celebration at the North East Valley Baptist Community Centre (270 North Road) before the building’s demolition.
This very special event marks the last opportunity to gather and dance in the space that has hosted Balfolk Dunedin and so many community activities over the years. We are delighted to welcome three accomplished musicians embracing Balfolk for the event: ENTRADA (Jonathan Le Cocq on guitar and Scout White on violin) alongside Sophia Bidwell on piano accordion, who will shape our dance.
Dances will be explained. Absolute beginners are very welcome and you do not need a partner.
Come and feel the floor beneath your feet while it is still there.
