Summer is PEAK social riding time!
Whether you're keen to meet like minded souls or simply discover new trails then we'd love to have you join LDTR on our home turf. We will take in as many of the trails as you can handle! As it's summer, this ride will be subject to the weather forecast - extreme heat or bushfire warnings will result in cancellation, which we will advise you of by email.
This ride is open to everyone aged 18+ (anyone under this age is welcome to join but must be accompanied by a parent/guardian and be able to ride with an intermediate level of fitness and skill).
The meeting point will be at the Horswood Road parking trail head map. We encourage you to plan to meet us at 8:45am for a 9:00am roll out.
We will be riding approximately 20 - 30km on blue trails (and black trails for those that are up for it!) so an intermediate level of fitness and skill will be required. Having said that, this will be a no drop ride so you can rest assured that you won't be left behind. You are also free to leave at any time if you have other commitments. If needed one of our ride leaders will be available to safely guide you out.
Once finished join us for coffee, snacks and chats at the Orchard @ Montagues.
What you will need:
A mountain bike in good working order
An Australian safety standards approved helmet
Water, snacks, spare tube
Freshly applied sunscreen
There is no charge for this event but you MUST register.
All riders must have Aus Cycling insurance: https://www.auscycling.org.au/membership
