Hello friends, important content, please read.
The Lancaster Disc Golf Alliance Holiday/Election meeting will be **Tuesday December 16th, 6pm at Pizza Cottage on Ety and Fair!
Our Chairman Trent Mason will not be running for a Board position for 2026 for personal reasons. We all thank you Trent for your investment over the years to "right the ship", your devotion has made an impact that will stand the test of time, forever. Please come and celebrate Trent's send off, and be part of the election process for 2026.
Our Bylaws dictate an incoming Chairman must have served on the LDGA Board for the year prior. Marc Mason, Micah Freeman and Jason Richardson are all content in their respective positions so, I (Detroit Duchon) volunteered for the Chairman position for 2026.
This leaves the LDGA Board position of Secretary open. Please don't assume "someone else" will fill it, we need you to step in and be part of our future for Lancaster disc golf! Just come to the meeting and volunteer for Secretary (or any other board position, except Chairman) and we will have a descrete vote. As always, unopposed board positions will be considered voted in.
***This is also our DISC EXCHANGE meeting!! Please bring a WRAPPED, new disc, to the meeting and we will hold a version of White Elephant and everyone who brought a disc will leave with a different disc! There have been some really valuable discs unwrapped every year, just saying..
