We are excited to share that for London Design Festival we are hosting the first edition of The Objects Pantry! Taking place in one of Flawk's bespoke development projects (the transformation of a parking lot into a characterful family residence) 'The Objects Pantry: Stoke Newington' is the first of an ongoing series that aims to facilitate local creative interaction and encourage community bonds through design. During The Objects Pantry, Flawk will host experiential supper clubs that present the ritual of a meal reimagined through the lens of community, in which everything from taste to utensils and glassware is designed to foster connection and a sense of conviviality. Within the exhibition's setting, we have invited supper club resident, RASA Dining to reimagine the Sunday Roast and curate an edible design experience in response to the space, blurring the thresholds of art, food, and utility.
RASA Dining is a collective examining the role of food in cultural gatherings. The Sunday Roast is synonymous with British family meals, ones of togetherness. RASA dining and Flawk rethink the conventional Sunday Roast and consider the rituals of winding down through design. Join at 13:30 on Sunday 15th September for an experiential Sunday Roast!
