BY POPULAR DEMAND! The Latino Comedy Project continues its 25th Anniversary celebration with another laugh-filled evening of MORE classic sketches and hilarious memories!
Following the incredible response to the first "LCP:25" retrospective, audiences demanded MORE! With "LCP:25 Volume 2," the Emmy-nominated, critically-acclaimed sketch group shares even more laughs, sketches, stories and cast members from the LCP's rich twenty-five year history creating cutting-edge comedy in Austin, Texas and across the nation.
“LCP:25 Volume 2” runs Thursdays through Saturdays, November 14-30 at Hyde Park Theatre, 511 West 43rd Street, Austin, TX, 78751. (No Thanksgiving performance.)

“LCP:25 Volume 2” digs deep into the archives to revisit classic sketches and group memories from its unlikely formation and debut show in February, 1998 at an Austin Community College theater its years touring North America, its multi-million-view viral videos, its surprise Emmy nomination to its recent triumphant reunion and critical and commercial successes “Gentrif*cked” and "¡Estar Guars!"
It’s more of the very best of twenty-five years of live sketches, video parodies, musical comedy and hilarious personal cast stories. A quarter century of biting political/pop culture satire and larger-than-life hilarity - all packed into a single evening!
Each night will also feature a wild and free-wheeling audience Q&A with the Latino Comedy Project!
“LCP:25 Volume 2” features LCP members spanning the group’s entire 25 year history, including Patricia Arredondo, Sandy Avila-Ramirez, Estrella DeLeon, Guillermo DeLeon, Rosa Flores, Omar Gallaga, Yesenia Garcia-Herrington, Raul Garza, Yesenia Herrington-Garcia, Adam Martinez, Karinna Perez-Cantú, Erica Saenz, JoJanie Segura-Moreno, Mical Trejo, Nick Walker, Adrian Villegas and more.

THE CITY OF AUSTIN HONORS A QUARTER CENTRY OF THE LATINO COMEDY PROJECT
Recently, Austin City Council member Jose Velasquez and the City of Austin honored the LCP's rich 25-year contribution to the city's culrural life by declaring March 7, 2024 Latino Comedy Project Day. (Watch the presentation and acceptance speeches below.)
ABOUT THE LATINO COMEDY PROJECT
Founded in 1998, The Latino Comedy Project (LCP) is an Emmy-nominated multimedia sketch troupe known for its political satire and pop culture parody.
The San Francisco Chronicle hailed the LCP as “hilarious” and “murderously funny.”
The LCP’s most recent show “Gentrif*cked” was called "a satirical masterpiece" and received "Best Of Austin" recognition from the Austin Chronicle, enjoying acclaimed, sold-out runs from Texas to California. Meanwhile, the LCP’s popular political sci-fi parody "Estar Guars!" was called "one of the funniest live shows I've ever seen."
The LCP’s YouTube comedy videos have amassed over 14 million views worldwide. The LCP cast also developed, wrote and starred in an MTV3 comedy branding campaign for which the group received an Emmy nomination.

COST: Online advance ticketing is $25 and $28 at the door. Advanced reservations recommended. Limited seating available. (Please ask about our special ticket discount for large group purchases!)
DOOR TIMES: House doors usually open 60 minutes prior to an event.
SEATING: Seating is limited (first come, first served). If seating is important to you, our best suggestion is to have a member of your party arrive when doors open. Or if you have health issues that require special arrangements, email us in advance and we will do our best to help reserve seating.
CANCELLATIONS: All tickets are non-refundable as per the policy of the ticketing vendor.
NO-SHOWS: In the event of a sold-out show, tickets are held until showtime. After that time, space is released to wait-listed patrons.
