LBJ Class of 2002 20th Reunion

Join c/o 2002 as they celebrate their 20th class reunion at the Historic Victory Grill. Classes before & after 2002 are welcomed. Dinner included in ticket price. DJ and dancing following meal.

Any proceeds from the event will be donated to a department in need at LBJ High School in our classes name. Please see any member of the planning committee to be included in the decision making process.

We encourage everyone to utilize rideshare services to travel to/from the reunion. Please drink and socialize responsibly.

All ticket sales are final, refund only in the event of cancellation of Saturdays celebration.

IMPORTANT! THIS IS A BINDING LEGAL AGREEMENT. PLEASE CAREFULLY READ AND UNDERSTAND THIS RELEASE AND WAIVER OF LIABILITY, ASSUMPTION OF RISK, AND INDEMNITY AGREEMENT BEFORE MAKING A RESERVATION, PURCHASING A TICKET, OR CHOOSING TO PARTICIPATE. THIS AGREEMENT IS BINDING FOR ALL RESERVATIONS, TICKET PURCHASES, AND FOR ALL EVENT PARTICIPANTS (hereinafter referred to as "WAIVER AND RELEASE OF CLAIMS").

You, on behalf of yourself and your invitees (together, the "Participant") and each of your or their respective heirs, personal representatives, guardians, conservators, agents, successors and assigns, agree to hold harmless and covenant not to sue, and hereby release and discharge, LBJ Class of 2002 Alumni Association, their respective owners, administrators, directors, managers, agents, officers, members, volunteers, employees, officials, insurers, affiliates, successors and assigns, in their official and individual capacities, and owners and lessors of the premises for any reunion activity or events (“Event”) (each of the forgoing shall be considered one of the “releasees” herein) from all liability, claims, demands, losses or damages to the Participant(s) caused or alleged to be caused in whole or in part by the Event, including the negligence of the releasees or otherwise (but excluding the gross negligence or willful misconduct of any releasee), and the Participant(s) further agrees that if, despite this release and waiver of liability, assumption of risk, and indemnity agreement, the Participant(s) or anyone on the Participant’s behalf makes a claim against any of the releasees, the Participant(s) will indemnify, save, and hold harmless each of the releasees from any litigation expenses, attorney fees, loss, liability, damage, or cost which may be incurred as the result of such claim. Such release, discharge, and covenant not to sue the releasees includes, without limitation, any possible legal claim for an act, or failure to act, amounting to negligence on the part of any of the releasees.

By choosing to participate in the Event, the Participant(s) acknowledges that Participant(s) is 21 years of age or older, has read this agreement and fully understands its terms, understands that Participant(s) has given up substantial rights by agreeing to participate in the Event, and is participating in the Event freely and without any inducement or assurance of any nature and that the Participant(s) completely and unconditionally releases all liability to the greatest extent allowed by law. In addition, each Participant executing this agreement acknowledges that his or her invitees to such event have agreed (and before inviting such person to attend, such Participant has obtained their agreement) to be bound by this agreement to the same extent as if they had signed this agreement. The Participant(s) additionally permits LBJ Class of 2002 Alumni Association, its owners, administrators, directors, managers, agents, officers, members, volunteers, employees, officials, insurers, affiliates, successors to photograph or videotape Participant’s participation in the Event, including sound and video recordings (collectively, “recordings”). The Participant(s) gives LBJ Class of 2002 Alumni Association all rights to market, publish, reproduce (in any and all media), and otherwise use the recordings without Participant’s permission and without any compensation to the Participant(s) in the photographs.

Coronavirus / COVID-19 Warning & Disclaimer

Coronavirus a/k/a COVID-19 is an extremely contagious virus which spreads easily through person-to-person or other contact. Federal and state authorities recommend social distancing as a mean to prevent the spread of the virus. COVID-19 can lead to severe illness, personal injury, permanent disability, and death. Participating in the Event could increase the risk of contracting COVID-19. LBJ Class of 2002 Alumni Association in no way warrants that COVID-19 infection will not occur through participation in the Event or related activities.

WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO MODIFY OR AMEND THIS AGREEMENT FROM TIME TO TIME WITHOUT NOTICE. YOUR CONTINUED USE OF OUR SERVICE/ATTENDANCE AT EVENT FOLLOWING THE POSTING OF CHANGES TO THIS AGREEMENT WILL MEAN YOU ACCEPT THOSE CHANGES. UNLESS WE PROVIDE YOU WITH SPECIFIC NOTICE, NO CHANGES TO THIS AGREEMENT WILL APPLY RETROACTIVELY.
