About this Event

Join Lifecycle Building Center on October 4th, 2025 from 6:30-9:30pm for Revel in Reuse, our annual fundraiser to support and celebrate LBC’s efforts to build more resilient and sustainable communities through the reuse of construction materials.

This year’s event will be held at Electric Owl Studios; the world’s first purpose-built LEED Gold Certified film & TV studio. Our partnership with Electric Owl for this event builds on LBC’s longtime collaboration with Georgia's film industry to save and reuse over 800,000 pounds of usable materials from 180+ film productions.

With massive support from Bin There Dump That, Department of Energy, Electric Owl, Georgia Tech, Kronberg Urbanists + Architects, Oak Ridge National Laboratory and Urban Evolutions, LBC has launched a new initiative to remanufacture salvaged lumber from film sets into new construction products for affordable housing.

Funds raised through LBC’s Revel in Reuse event will support LBC's Nonprofit Material MATCH program, the relaunch of LBC’s Educational Workshops and deeper community impact through the ReBuildATL Coalition, including expanded workforce training, home repair, affordable housing prototype development and more.

ABOUT LIFECYCLE BUILDING CENTER

Lifecycle Building Center reclaims usable materials through free deconstruction and pickup services and drop-off donations at our Reuse Center in Southwest Atlanta, where residents access these materials for a fraction of new material costs and nonprofits receive free materials through our Nonprofit Material MATCH program. Since 2011, LBC has saved 12 million pounds of material from disposal and saved our community $5.5 million in material costs, including over 400 free material grants to nonprofits.

Since 2011, LBC has saved 12.9 million pounds of usable building materials from disposal and generated over $6.2M in community savings by providing access to deeply discounted reclaimed building materials and donating free materials to nonprofits locally and nationally, with 460+ in-kind material grants awarded to over 370+ nonprofits to date through its Nonprofit Material MATCH program.
