The Longears Safehouse is inviting the public to its second annual public donkey hike. This time we meet at the parking area for Cerrillos Hills State Park, Cerrillos, NM at 11 a.m. mountain daylight time. We have already 3 donkeys scheduled so far, and you are welcome to join with or without a donkey. Bring good hiking shoes or boots and weather appropriate clothing, and don't forget a water bottle! Please note: This is NOT a burro race, just a lazy Sunday moderate level terrain hike of about 45 minutes. We will pass by two old mines along the way. We're also planning to reserve a lunch table after the hike at Blackbird Saloon, 28 Main St, Los Cerrillos, NM 87010. Please RSVP by April 15 at [email protected] if you want to join us for lunch!
