Name: Lazy River 5k - August 23

Come test your fitness in a “race” series unlike any other! While this is not a “RACE” where you compete against others for a finishing place; participants in these events are encouraged to compete against themselves. Whether you are new to water walking, recovering from an injury, or just want a cool way to get some Saturday Morning Fitness; these “races” will provide a unique challenge to each participant.
Lazy River 5K- Walk 3.1 miles in the lazy river. Participants will walk 31 laps around the lazy river. The accelerator pump will not be on, and participants will be walking WITH the normal current created in the lazy river!
Each challenge participant will receive a Finisher’s Ribbon. Water, Gatorade, and finisher’s snacks will be provided to all participants!
Date: Saturday, August 23rd
Time: Challenge starts promptly at 8:30am. Gates open at 8am.
Location: Signal Bay Water Park
Rain or Shine. In the event of thunder/lightning, event will be re-scheduled. No refunds.
Ages: 13-99+
Cost: $15/event.
REGISTRATION:
-registration is required and limited to the first 50 participants. In order to maintain safety around the pool, each registrant is limited to 1 adult spectator. No children under the age of 13 will be permitted in the water park during the events. All participants are encouraged to wear water shoes.
