During his service as a British liaison officer to the Arab army and a leader of Arab combat units, T. E. Lawrence took over 340 photographs between 1916 and 1918. In examining many of these little-seen photographs, George Thompson (author of “Seeing Arabia”) will offer new insights into Lawrence’s values, motives and his effectiveness as a photographer.
