Lawrence is a North Philadelphia-born singer, performer, and tennis professional whose music career began at age 15. He has shared the stage with artists including Patti LaBelle, Grover Washington Jr., and Melba Moore, and currently performs with The Manhattans featuring Gerald Alston. Beyond music, Lawrence is also a longtime tennis coach and serves as Director of Woodford Tennis Club, the nation’s oldest Black-owned tennis club.
