About this Event
Villamanta Disability Rights Legal Service invites disability advocates with lived experience of cognitive disability to join us for an afternoon at the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (VCAT) during Law Week.
Two VCAT Members who conduct guardianship and administration hearings will show us through the hearing rooms, explain how the Tribunal operates, and discuss how guardianship and administration matters are decided.
This event is an excellent opportunity to learn more about how these cases are dealt with at VCAT and what to expect if you are supporting someone to attend a hearing at VCAT.
There will be an opportunity to ask the VCAT Members questions, so please come prepared with anything you would like to ask!
Please let us know if you have any questions or accessibility requirements.
