The first annual Lavender Gala for Maternal Health is being held Saturday September 13, 2025 at Saint Francis Xavier University in the Mackay Room.This is a 19 + event but carried infants are welcome at dinner.
The theme for the night is “Lavender Luxury” with a formal dress code. The colour scheme will be shades of purple, blush, creams, gold, black and white.
All proceeds are going towards construction of the Kristen and Baby Beaton Centre for Maternal Health which will be built in Northern Nova Scotia to support families with their health and wellness.
This event will include vendors, speeches, dinner, photo opportunities, entertainment, drinks and dancing. Donations will be collected and tallied throughout the evening.
Our hosts for the night are the hilarious Tracy and Martina and we will hear from some community members, advocates and experts.
After dinner we will dance until midnight, think kitchen party but make it fancy!
In person tickets are on sale now and the event will be live-streamed for a cheaper price so you can join the party from home and see your donations on screen!
