Greening Greenfield introduces the first film in its Fall 2025 series
The True Cost shows the shift in how clothes are made today, where they are made, and who makes them. A culture of “fast fashion” has been created by the clothing industry to make styles that change from week to week and are so cheap they’re no longer wash and wear, but wear and throw away. The film takes us to countries where our clothes are made, the materials that are used, and the human and environmental destruction that follows: the true cost of many of the clothes we wear.
