About this Event
LLorens x Frank On the river, one experimental live set moves between noise, texture, feedback, and fragmented melodies. Loops, no-input electronics, vibrating strings, and shifting resonances blend with the surrounding water and city sounds — turning the raft into a temporary space for unstable, evolving sound.
Frank creates a unique soundscape in the transition from noise to music. He has arranged his improv set with hints of melodies, sporadic rhythms, and sound structures formed from a variety of analog sound samples. These are integrated into the digital signals of a no-input mixer and other electronic devices. An additional element is a modified resonator guitar. Driven by a motor, a coil, and a closed circuit, its strings are set into permanent vibration, generating endless sustain. This results in a radical transformation of both the sound and the handling of the instrument. https://orange-ear.de/frank https://www.instagram.com/frank_noiseorange-ear.de
Berenice Llorens (AR) is a composer, guitar player, and experimental artist based in Berlin. Blending improvisation with organic and synthetic sonic narratives, she creates evolving sonic ecosystems. Through loops and delays, she transforms space into a live territory where sound material and emotions flow and mutate over time. Alongside her solo work, she actively engages in collaborative projects across sound, performance, and improvisation. https://berenicellorens.com https://www.instagram.com/berenicellorens
