Slow Coast Duo at Davenport Roadhouse -Every 3rd Friday ?? 6-9pmSlow Coast is a duo project with Santa Cruz based musicians Lauren Wahl & Bill Walker. They play original music, freshly inspired covers (especially loving the 90s) and dynamic “tone poems” every 3rd Friday from 6-9 at Davenport Roadhouse.
Bill’s percussive live looping creates a soundscape for layered melodies and sparkling harmonics. He creates endless combinations of wandering, "real-time" sonic art.
Lauren’s sweet, dynamic vocal stylings pair with her thoughtful songwriting. She previously released 2 albums with Simply Put, an alt-folk band that dissolved during the pandemic. Bill and Lauren began playing together after the recording of “Always” in 2021, Lauren’s 2nd self-produced single.
Slow Coast creates a uniquely relaxed, ethereal vibe with just the right amount of unpredictable playfulness, nostalgia and grit.
Davenport Roadhouse offers indoor and outdoor seating, a full bar, delicious dining and adorable rooms overlooking the ocean.
