Portland's Laurelhurst Park is an absolute gem...it was designed to highlight the natural landscape and it's on the National Register of Historic Places. On Thursday, Sept 19 we'll meet at the pond at 9am, a beautiful spot that’s easy to find once you’re inside the park. (The pond is an obviously great choice of a place to paint, but you can paint anywhere in the park...just remember to return to the pond to meet up with everyone at Noon for “Discussion”).
(Parking is recommended on the SE Ankeny side of the park, near the blue building with restrooms. From there, follow the paved path past the building, and you’ll find the pond straight ahead). See the 2nd map provided. (The Google map might take you to the the gas station across the street from one of the entrances. We're recommending that you park on Ankeny near the restroom building instead).
