À travers un mouvement ondulatoire et un rythme alternant de la latence au spasmodique, Au ventre d’un monde (ponos IV) propose un voyage sensuel dans les entrailles, le canyon, l’épicentre et l’humide de l’accouchement. Avec ce solo soutenu par un chœur d’allié·e·x, Lauranne Faubert-Guay vous invite dans un espace de confidences où se déploie un travail au sol aussi doux qu'éprouvant, aussi charnel que transcendant. Au ventre d’un monde (ponos IV) est la revendication d’un corps – à l’identité, au genre et aux contours fluides – capable de mettre au monde et de rejeter son analgésie. Cette ode à la naissance, la création et la radicalité célèbre la démesure du corps et souligne son immensité.
Through undulating movement and a rhythm in turn halting and spasmodic, Au ventre d’un monde (ponos IV) takes the audience on a sensual journey into the bowels, the depths, the epicenter, the meat of childbirth. In this solo accompanied by a choir of allies, Lauranne Faubert-Guay welcomes you into an intimate space featuring floor work that is at once soft and strenuous, carnal and transcendent. Au ventre d’un monde (ponos IV) is the vindication of a body whose identity, gender and contours are fluid, a body capable of withstanding the pain of labour. This ode to birth, creation and radicalness celebrates the bottomless well that is the human body.

Inspiré par la théorie de la cognition vestimentaire, Sometimes a little…distorted partage un processus de recherche en cours explorant l'impact des vêtements sur l'image et l'expression de soi, sur la perception des autres, mais surtout son influence sur la danse. À travers le freestyle, Nindy explore et remet en question son concept de soi, embrassant la vulnérabilité afin d’exprimer d'autres facettes de son identité. Devenez témoin de la manière dont l'habillement façonne non seulement l'identité et les interactions, mais aussi la danse et sa lecture. Cette conférence-performance révèle la puissante connexion entre ce que nous portons et la façon dont nous dansons, offrant un voyage enrichissant dans les significations profondes derrière la mode, l’expression et la perception de soi.
Inspired by the concept of enclothed cognition, Sometimes a little…distorted presents the artist’s ongoing research into how clothes influence self-image and expression, the outside gaze and, most importantly, dance. Through freestyle, Nindy explores and challenges her view of herself, embracing vulnerability to express different facets of her identity. We become witness to the way clothes shape not just identity and interactions, but also dance and how it is interpreted. This lecture-performance sheds light on the powerful connection between what we wear and how we dance, taking the audience on a journey into the deeper meaning of fashion, expression, and self-image.
