Laura will be joined in conversation by Kat Tang, author of . Along with a discussion and audience Q&A, Laura will also sign copies ofSister Creatures.

- Cost of a $5 general admission ticket can be applied towards your purchase.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Laura Venita Green holds an MFA in fiction and translation from Columbia University, where she was an undergraduate teaching fellow. Her fiction won the Story Foundation Prize, received two Pushcart Prize special mentions, and has appeared in Story, the Missouri Review, Joyland, and Fatal Flaw. She grew up in Germany and rural Louisiana and currently lives with her husband in New York City. SISTER CREATURES is her debut novel.
ABOUT THE MODERATOR
Kat Tang is a former lawyer turned fiction writer with an MFA in creative writing from Columbia University. Her debut novel, FIVE-STAR STRANGER, has been featured on NPR’s Weekend Edition and People Magazine, received starred reviews from Kirkus and Booklist, been selected as a Belletrist Book Club pick, an Oprah’s Book Club Must Read, and an Indie Next pick. Her stories and comics have also appeared in The New Yorker, Electric Literature, The Margins, and more.
