About this Event
Join Beano artist Laura Howell for this introduction to bringing comic characters to life on the page.
In this 60-minute workshop Laura will guide you through the basics of cartooning, as well as sharing a behind-the-scenes look at how a Beano page is created, from script to the finished comic in your hand.
Laura has drawn and written for many publications including the Dandy and the DFC, as well as comic adaptations of Angry Birds and Cartoon Network’s Regular Show.
In 2021, her artwork was displayed in the Beano: The Art of Breaking the Rules exhibition in Somerset House, London, and can currently be seen in the V&A Museum in Dundee.
