The French/American singer is reminiscent of many of the great traditional vocal stylists of the 20th century, but her voice is uniquely her own. Her repertoire is expansive, including gems from the Great American songbook, classic French chanson, Brazilian selections, poignant musical theatre hits and more. As she digs emotionally and eloquently into a lyric, her story-telling abilities portray a soul beyond her years.
Laura will be joined by award-winning NYC pianist/accordionist Ben Rosenblum and his trio. Fresh off an appearance at the Rochester Jazz Festival, the quartet has performed at prestigious venues across the US and Canada, including Mezzrow in New York City, the Bickford Theatre in Morristown, the Jazz Forum in Westchester, Upstairs in Montreal, the Jazz Loft in NY and the Jazz Bistro in Toronto.
Laura leads an active international touring schedule and has performed at venues including Olympia (Paris), Royal Festival Hall (London), Town Hall (New York City), the Ace Theatre Hotel (Los Angeles), and the main stage at the Festival International de Jazz de Montreal. She opened for Gregory Porter at the Victoria Jazz Festival (summer 2022), and Melody Gardot (fall 2022), joining her across the east and west coasts of the US and Europe.
