About the Author
Kathryn Gahl is an award-winning multi-genre writer whose works appear in many literary journals, ekphrastic shows, and anthologies. Her two memoirs, The Velocity of Love and The Yellow Toothbrush, received Outstanding Achievement Awards from The Wisconsin Library Association.
Twice a finalist at Glimmer Train, winner of the Mill Prize for both poetry and fiction, five times a finalist at Wisconsin People & Ideas, twice a winner of The Hal Prize for fiction and poetry, and twice nominated for a Pushcart, she received the prestigious Niedecker Poetry Award.
