Richard Pullen (Military Historian, author of "Landships of Lincoln") and myself Andrew Blow (film-maker who found early film of the tanks) are on the road again to tell this fascinating and internationally important story.
Our mission resumes on the night of Cambrai Day - Wednesday, November 20th. Where better to start than the White Hart Hotel, Bailgate - birthplace of the tanks!
Join us for a Dine with Heritage night in the King Richard II room. There will be talks of 45 minutes from each of us with old images and film, and a two course meal, plus coffee and mints. Price £39.95.
The Tank Room (where Tritton and Wilson invented the tank in 1915) will open from 6pm (as will the bar!) We will bring tank exhibits and memorabilia too! Ticket page:
